Are You There?

Are You There? is a booth you can step into and leave a message in. It asks where we belong and whether anyone is listening, and at the end it asks you to leave a few words for a stranger in another city and to hear what they left there for you. It exists in two versions, in Prague and in Stockholm. They are not two works but one conversation held across two cities. The installation was created within Art & Design Without Borders, a project connecting the Czech and Swedish creative scenes, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, together with creARTive (SE) and Studio PANK. Nothing left inside disappears: every message joins an archive we have been building since 2021, now holding over 30 000 anonymous voices. During ErasmusDays the installation is open at Atrium Žižkov during regular opening hours, free entry.
