As part of Erasmus Days 2026, the Directorate of Primary Education of Heraklion celebrates European cooperation and educational innovation by presenting the AQUA MIND project (Erasmus+ KA210-SCH).

The event aims to raise awareness among the educational community about environmental protection, the importance of water, and marine conservation, with a particular focus on Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG 14) – Life Below Water.
Through creative, experiential, and collaborative activities, the event highlights the connection between mindfulness and environmental education, encouraging young children to develop respect, empathy, environmental awareness, and a sense of responsibility towards nature.
The AQUA MIND project brings together educational institutions from Serbia, Croatia, Greece, and Portugal, promoting European values, inclusion, cooperation, and the exchange of innovative educational practices.
By engaging children, teachers, and the wider school community, the event seeks to inspire meaningful actions towards a more sustainable future.
Our message: “Small Actions Make a Big Difference -Together for a Healthier Blue Planet!”
