AI: Intelligence Beyond Borders

As part of the ErasmusDays 2026, the Polo Liceale “M. Guerrisi – V. Gerace” will organise a special event dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, innovation and European cooperation.
The event, entitled “AI: Intelligence Beyond Borders”, will bring together students, teachers and an invited international expert to explore the opportunities and challenges presented by Artificial Intelligence in education and in our everyday lives.
The programme will include a series of interactive workshops for students and teachers, conducted in English by a Hungarian teacher and AI expert, invited to the school within the framework of the school’s Erasmus+ accreditation.
Through practical activities, discussion and collaborative work, participants will have the opportunity to:
• discover how Artificial Intelligence is transforming education and society;
• explore innovative AI tools and their possible applications in teaching and learning;
• reflect on the relationship between human intelligence and artificial intelligence;
• discuss creativity, critical thinking and responsible use of AI;
• consider the ethical and social challenges connected with the development of AI;
• share experiences and ideas from different European educational contexts.

The workshops will be designed as an opportunity for learning, experimentation and international exchange, encouraging students and teachers to work together and to develop a conscious and responsible approach to emerging technologies.
The participation of a Hungarian expert represents a concrete expression of the Erasmus+ spirit, promoting European cooperation, intercultural dialogue and the exchange of knowledge and good practices.
