2026 Erasmus Days in Vocational Highschool of Food Technology, Plovdiv, Bulgaria

As part of the Erasmus Days 2026, the Vocational Highschool of Food Technology (PSFT), Plovdiv, Bulgaria, will organize an event dedicated to European cooperation in the field of vocational education and training (VET) in connection with the ongoing project “Breaking Gender Bias in VET: Through AI-Enhanced Strategies and Gender Equality Plans”.
The event will highlight how traditional roles can be transformed and gender equality achieved in different professions. Participants in the event will change the stereotype of “male” and “female” professions by taking part in workshops presenting practical exercises – part of vocational training.
The attendees will also be introduced to the country reports and policy reviews of Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Turkey and Bulgaria in a presentation session regarding the different levels of gender equality in VET in these countries.
The event aims to strengthen the cooperation between education and industry and inspire young people to make their career choices in line with their desires and capabilities, without being constrained by traditional roles.
Students, teachers, local food business representatives and community representatives will be invited to the event to promote Erasmus+ opportunities for learners, teachers and institutions, while also encouraging new European partnerships.
