Jean Monnet in Action: Sharing Knowledge, Inspiring European Citizenship

On Friday, 16 October 2026, from 17:00 to 18:00, the Model General High School of Mytilene of the University of the Aegean (Πρότυπο ΓΕ.Λ. Μυτιλήνης του Παν/μίου Αιγαίου) will host a one-hour online webinar via Webex to disseminate the activities and outcomes of its Jean Monnet project.

The webinar will provide an opportunity to present the project’s objectives, educational activities, innovative teaching approaches and key achievements. Teachers will share their experiences and demonstrate how the project has enhanced knowledge of the European Union, promoted European values and strengthened active citizenship, democratic participation and intercultural dialogue.

Participants will also learn about the project’s impact on the school community and the ways in which its results and educational resources can be further used and shared.

The webinar aims to disseminate good practices, encourage dialogue among educators and students, and inspire further initiatives that bring the European dimension into education while empowering young people to become informed, responsible and actively engaged European citizens.
