AURA, the Currency of European Values

Our eTwinning School San Tarcisio, together with the project’s partner schools, wants to present to everyone the European eTwinning project “European horizons: nurturing citizenship through eTwinning”, last year’s project in which our pupils created AURA, their Banknote of European Values. At this event we will tell you how the banknote was born, what its name means, what its values tell us and how every everyday gesture can nurture a sense of European citizenship. The pupils will bring the AURA Banknote series to the Mayor of Ercolano, to the Mayors of the other project partner cities and to the school heads of the other schools in the area. The students of the partner schools, together with ours, invite everyone to “spend” their own AURA on a gesture that gives value to our identity as European citizens and to build the Bank of European Values together.
