Roots from Bucovina, European Perspectives- Blending with nature (15.10.2026-15.11.2026)15.10.2026, 15.30- official opening of the exhibition

To celebrate Erasmus Days, REI – Reper Etnocultural Identitar NGO from Rădăuți, Suceava County, Romania is organizing “Roots from Bucovina, European Perspectives,” a photo exhibition hosted at ,,Samuil and Eugenia Ioneț” Ethnographic Museum in Rădăuți, Romania that can be visited in between 15.10.2026-15.11.2026. The official opening will take place on 15th of October 2026, at 15.30.

Inspired by an Erasmus+ project in Italy, on Amalfi Coast, organized by ACARBIO, the exhibition brings together photographs capturing young people’s experiences, discoveries and moments of connection with nature. Photos from the Erasmus+ project in Italy will also be exhibited, sharing the memories and inspiration that sparked this initiative and highlighting how international learning experiences can inspire meaningful local actions.

Adding a creative and sustainable touch, the photographs will be displayed in handmade frames crafted from natural and recycled materials, reflecting the importance of environmental awareness, resourcefulness and respect for our surroundings.

By connecting the natural and cultural heritage of Bucovina with European experiences and perspectives, the exhibition celebrates youth creativity, cultural identity, environmental responsibility and the power of international cooperation. It demonstrates how Erasmus+ can encourage young people to bring new ideas home, share them with their communities and build bridges between local traditions and a common European future. #Erasmusdays2026
