Europe Through Children’s Eyes – United by Friendship!

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, School No. 116 in Bucharest, Romania, will organise a school-wide educational event involving primary and lower secondary school students and teachers.

The event includes two creative activities, with each class choosing one according to the students’ interests and age.

1. Europe Through Children’s Eyes – A Journey Across European Countries

Students will discover European countries, their flags, capitals, languages, traditions and cultural landmarks. Each participating class will create a poster or collage to be displayed in a school exhibition. Students who have travelled to other European countries will also be invited to share photographs and memories of the places they have visited.

2. Building Europe Together – The Friendship Map

Students will create messages of friendship, drawings and symbols representing cooperation, solidarity and mutual respect. Their contributions will be brought together on a large collaborative map of Europe, displayed at school.

The event will conclude with an exhibition celebrating European cultural diversity, creativity, friendship and cooperation.

Through these activities, we aim to promote the values of Erasmus+, encourage intercultural understanding and strengthen the European dimension of our school.

Together, we build a Europe of friendship!
