Seeds of Europe: Seed Swap and Plant-Sharing Event for Erasmus Days
International Sustainability Education Day – E.C.O. Connect launch

On 14 October 2026, our school marks International Sustainability Education Day with the launch of the Erasmus+ eTwinning project E.C.O. Connect. The occasion is a Seed Swap and Plant-Sharing Event, part of the Eco-Schools initiative. Everyone is invited to donate plants, bulbs, seeds and recycled materials, freely and at no cost.

The event is run by students of classes 1I and 1L and their teachers. The classes are twinned with a Turkish partner school and linked to schools in Greece, the Czech Republic, Romania and Tunisia. They will catalogue the donations, create “identity cards” for the plants and choose a symbolic plant for each class to keep or plant in the school garden. The event promotes European cooperation, biodiversity, reuse and civic responsibility, in line with the 2030 Agenda.
