As part of the Erasmus Days celebrations, we invite parents, grandparents, and elderly members of our community to participate in a creative intergenerational workshop entitled LullaLiL- Parents Connect: Building Bridges Through Erasmus+ “Catching Autumn – A Bag Full of Treasures.”
During this workshop, parents and elders will come together to create and decorate handmade bags for children, using simple materials, creativity, and traditional handicraft skills. These special bags will become the children’s companions on their autumn adventures, allowing them to collect little treasures from nature, such as colourful leaves, chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, acorns, and other seasonal discoveries.
The workshop aims to bring generations together through creativity, cooperation, and shared experiences, encouraging older generations to pass on their knowledge and practical skills while strengthening the connection between families, children, and the wider community.
Through this activity, we celebrate the Erasmus+ values of inclusion, intergenerational learning, active citizenship, and lifelong learning, demonstrating that learning can happen at any age and that even the simplest handmade object can create meaningful connections between generations.
Together, we create the bags; children fill them with autumn treasures and beautiful memories!
