My Dream Erasmus Trip – Erasmus Days
As part of Erasmus Days, students aged 11 participated in a creative workshop called “My Dream Erasmus Trip.” The aim of the activity was to introduce students to the Erasmus+ programme, encourage their curiosity about European countries and cultures, and promote the values of friendship, cooperation, respect, and unity in diversity.
During the workshop, students imagined their dream trip to a European country and created colourful postcards featuring flags, famous landmarks, and places they would like to visit. They also wrote short sentences in English describing their chosen destination and what they would like to learn or discover there.
Students then presented their postcards to their classmates, practising their English communication skills and sharing their interests and ideas. The activity concluded with the creation of a collaborative poster featuring a map of Europe and the students’ postcards, celebrating the richness of European cultures and the importance of learning from one another.
Through this engaging and interactive activity, students developed their creativity, communication skills, cultural awareness, and teamwork. The workshop highlighted the spirit of Erasmus+ by showing that, despite our different languages and traditions, we can build friendships, share experiences, and feel united as part of one European community.
