Open to public
I.C. Marconi Michelangelo, Laterza (TA) Italy
To mark Erasmus Days 2026, the I.C. Marconi-Michelangelo in Laterza and the 2nd I.C. “O. M. Corbino” in Augusta – both eTwinning schools – are organising the online event “Learning and Growing Together: Erasmus+ meets eTwinning” on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 5.00 pm.
The event will explore the relationship between Erasmus+ and eTwinning and the opportunities for integration between the two programmes to promote the internationalisation of schools.
Following opening remarks from the headteachers, Liliana Pillon and Sara Brunno, Erasmus Ambassadors for Puglia and Sicily respectively, will share their experiences and best practices. This will be followed by a presentation of the Erasmus+ project “TO BE OR TO WELL-BE – CREATING A SAFE AND POSITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT” by the school in Augusta, and of the eTwinning project linked to FERS/Erasmus+ F.A.S.H.I.O.N. by the I.C. Marconi-Michelangelo.
The meeting will conclude with a proposal for a shared mini eTwinning project, to trial collaboration between the two schools via the ESEP/eTwinning platform. The initiative promotes teacher training and European collaboration, in line with the theme of Erasmus Days 2026: “Learning and Growing: Skills for Tomorrow”.
