Description of the Event
The Directorate of Primary Education of Larissa is organizing an online event as part of the celebrations of Erasmus Days 2026, on Friday, 16 October 2026, from 19:00 to 21:00 (Greek local time).
The event will provide schools with the opportunity to present the results of their Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1) and Key Action 2 (KA2) projects implemented during the 2025–2026 school year, as well as the objectives, themes, and planned activities of projects to be implemented during the 2026–2027 school year.
The main objectives of the event are to promote European values and highlight the benefits of participating in approved Erasmus+ projects, facilitate the exchange of results, experiences, and good practices among participating schools and prospective applicants, and encourage more members of the school community to engage in the Erasmus+ programme.
The event is addressed to school principals, deputy principals, heads of schools, and teachers who are already involved in Erasmus+ projects or are interested in learning more about the programme and participating in future initiatives. Registration is required for both presenters and attendees.
As part of the event, Gonnon Primary School will present its contribution entitled “Multicultural Education, Sustainability and Innovation through Our European Mobilities with Erasmus+”. The presentation is part of the implementation of the Erasmus+ project “Fostering Sustainability, Cultural Heritage, Democracy and Multicultural Education: A Path to Global Citizenship” (Project No. 2025-1-EL01-KA122-SCH-000330053).
Through this presentation, the school will share its experiences and insights from European mobility activities, highlighting how Erasmus+ can foster multicultural understanding, promote sustainability, encourage innovation in education, and strengthen democratic values and active global citizenship.
