What is FCL?

This event is organized within the framework of ErasmusDays to disseminate the innovative educational approaches and digital transformation vision of the Erasmus+ program at the local level. The primary objective of our event is to introduce FCL (Future Classroom Lab)—a concept that transforms traditional classrooms into flexible, collaborative, and technology-integrated modern learning spaces equipped with 21st-century skills—to our middle school students. The event aims to raise awareness about a model that encourages students to be active researchers, designers, creators, and presenters rather than passive learners.
The event directly aligns with the Erasmus+ program priorities of “Digital Transformation in Education” and “Supporting Innovative Practices.” The FCL methodology, developed under European Schoolnet standards, lays the groundwork for our students to experience the same contemporary and innovative learning standards as their peers across Europe.
The event will be conducted with the participation of all 138 middle school students enrolled in our school. Every student will gain insight into FCL’s 6 core learning zones (Investigate, Interact, Design, Create, Present, and Collaborate) and experience future learning environments through workshop-based interactive sessions.
