Friendship Beyond Borders: Türkiye & Latvia – One Visit, Many Connections

Our school will celebrate Erasmus Days 2026 with an interactive school event inspired by the visit of a group of Latvian teachers and students in May 2025. Through our “Erasmus Route”, students will explore the story of this international encounter, locate Latvia and Türkiye on the map of Europe, take part in short language and speaking challenges, join an Erasmus-themed quiz, and share their own messages about friendship, intercultural learning and Europe. Students will complete an Erasmus Passport as they move through the activity stations. If possible, the programme will also include a short video greeting from our Latvian friends. The event aims to turn a past international visit into a living learning experience and to encourage curiosity, communication, cultural awareness and interest in future Erasmus+ opportunities.
