Erasmus Days Two Flags, One Future: Green Minds – Kind Hearts

As part of Erasmus Days, Etlik Anadolu High School proudly celebrates European cooperation, cultural diversity and environmental responsibility through our “Green Minds – Kind Hearts” project.

Our activity features the Turkish national flag and the European flag, created with creativity, teamwork and a strong commitment to sustainability. By making the European flag from recycled plastic bottle caps, our students demonstrate how everyday materials can be reused creatively and how small actions can contribute to a greener future.

The Turkish flag represents our national identity, cultural heritage and shared values, while the European flag symbolises unity, cooperation and solidarity among European nations.

Through this activity, we aim to raise awareness of recycling, encourage environmentally responsible behaviour and inspire students to embrace kindness, inclusion, respect and intercultural understanding.

We believe that education brings people together and empowers young people to make a positive difference in their communities.
