CDI Room, Sports Hall, School Courtyard
Strada Barbu Ștefănescu Delavrancea 55, Constanța, Romania
CENTRUL ȘCOLAR PENTRU EDUCAȚIE INCLUZIVĂ „ALBATROS” CONSTANȚA
The event will take place on Friday, 16 October, and will bring together teachers and students from the entire school community in a day dedicated to learning, cooperation, inclusion, cultural identity and the development of skills for the future.
From 11:00 to 12:00, all teachers will participate in a round-table conference, creating an opportunity for professional dialogue, sharing experiences and good practices, and discussing the importance of developing key competences and promoting inclusive education.
From 12:00 to 13:00, all students will gather in the school sports hall to take part in a variety of inclusive sports activities inspired by Survivor-type challenges. The activities will encourage teamwork, communication, cooperation, problem-solving, perseverance, self-confidence, responsibility and respect for others. All students will be actively involved, regardless of their abilities, creating an atmosphere of inclusion, support and equal participation.
The sporting activities will conclude with a large traditional Romanian Hora in the school courtyard, bringing together students, teachers and other participants. The Hora will symbolically represent unity, friendship, diversity, cooperation and belonging to the European community.
To celebrate both our European values and Romanian cultural identity, all participants will wear a traditional Romanian “ie” blouse or a white T-shirt, together with the Romanian tricolour. This visual element will reinforce the message that cultural identity and European belonging can come together in a spirit of respect, diversity and unity.
The entire event will demonstrate that learning and skills development can happen through dialogue, cooperation, movement, cultural expression and shared experiences, while ensuring that every member of the school community has the opportunity to participate and contribute.
