You’ve got the job. What next?

The idea is to focus the session on a phase that is often taken for granted when discussing entry into the world of work: what happens after recruitment, during the first few days and weeks at the company. Drawing on findings from the ONBOARD project’s research, participants will be involved in a practical discussion on expectations, needs, fears and behaviours that can make it easier – or more difficult – for someone to settle into a new organisation. The aim, therefore, is not to organise a one-way session on employability, but to create a small workshop in which young people’s perspectives can be linked to the work carried out by the ONBOARD project and transformed into practical guidance.
