Erasmus Days Ambassadors: sharing values, promoting opportunities

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, CEIPES ETS will organise an information and orientation event at the University of Palermo aimed at university students interested in discovering European mobility, learning, volunteering and personal development opportunities.

The event will introduce participants to the different opportunities available through Erasmus+ and other European programmes, highlighting the educational value of international experiences beyond traditional academic mobility. Particular attention will be given to volunteering, non-formal learning and other forms of mobility that can help young people develop new skills, gain confidence, engage with different cultures and communities, and strengthen both their personal and professional profiles.

Participants will also be introduced to useful platforms, information channels and research tools that can help them identify opportunities independently and navigate the wide range of programmes and initiatives available at European level.

Through practical information, examples and direct exchange with the CEIPES team and young people with international experience, the session will encourage students to explore European opportunities according to their own interests, goals and stage of life.

The event aims to present mobility not simply as an experience abroad, but as a valuable learning opportunity that can take different forms — from study and training to volunteering and participation — and contribute meaningfully to students’ personal, academic and professional growth.
