Erasmus+ Meets Pink October Together for Health, Hope & Solidarity

Event Description

As part of Erasmus Days 2026 and Pink October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Evryviadeio Gymnasium in Larnaca will organise a special event combining European values, health awareness, solidarity and active citizenship.

Under the theme “Erasmus+ Meets Pink October – Together for Health, Hope & Solidarity”, students, teachers and parents will come together through a series of interactive and meaningful activities.

The event will include:

Tree of Hope: Students will write positive messages and wishes promoting health, hope, kindness and solidarity.

Erasmus+ & Pink October Quiz: An interactive question-and-answer game focusing on Erasmus+, European values, breast cancer awareness, prevention and healthy lifestyles.

Sweet Rewards: Students answering questions correctly will receive small sweet treats.

Lucky Draw: Participants will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw featuring Erasmus+ gifts provided by IDEP Lifelong Learning and additional gifts from Europa Donna.

Community Involvement: Teachers and parents will be invited to contribute by volunteering, assisting at activity stands or offering refreshments and treats.

Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote the importance of prevention and early detection, and highlight the Erasmus+ values of inclusion, cooperation, empathy and solidarity.

Our message is simple: By learning, caring and working together, we can make a difference!
