From Europe to the World: A Digital Meeting with Our Sister Schools

From Europe to the World: A Digital Meeting with Our Sister Schools is an international online student meeting organised by Mustafa Kaynak Anadolu Lisesi as part of ErasmusDays 2026.

The event will bring together students and teachers from Mustafa Kaynak Anadolu Lisesi and its sister schools in Curaçao and Norway depending on their availability. The aim is to create a shared digital space where young people from different countries can meet, learn from one another and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping their common future.

At the beginning of the meeting, students from each participating school will briefly introduce their school, city, country and cultural background. These short presentations will provide an opportunity for students to discover different educational environments, traditions and perspectives.

The second part of the event will focus on a student dialogue under the theme:

“Our Common Future: Sustainability, Youth and International Cooperation.”

Students will exchange ideas on environmental responsibility, climate change, sustainable lifestyles, youth participation, intercultural dialogue and the importance of international cooperation in addressing global challenges.

A short section of Mustafa Kaynak Anadolu Lisesi’s COP31-related activities may also be presented to demonstrate how young people can contribute to global climate discussions through education, creativity and international school partnerships.

The meeting will conclude with short messages from participating students answering the question:

“What can young people do together to build a more sustainable and connected world?”

The event aims to demonstrate that international cooperation is not limited to mobility activities. It can also be built through meaningful digital interaction, shared values, peer learning and long-term partnerships between schools.

Through this ErasmusDays event, Mustafa Kaynak Anadolu Lisesi will highlight its existing international network while encouraging students to see themselves as active members of a wider European and global community.
MAIN OBJECTIVES

To strengthen cooperation between partner and sister schools.

To improve students’ intercultural communication and digital communication skills.

To promote sustainability and environmental awareness.

To encourage active citizenship and youth participation.

To increase the visibility of Erasmus+, ErasmusDays and international school cooperation.

To help students experience international dialogue directly with their peers from other countries.

EXPECTED OUTPUTS

A joint online meeting, student presentations, photographs or screenshots of the international session, short student messages and digital content that can be shared through the school’s communication channels as part of ErasmusDays 2026.
