Erasmus+ Experience Day: Student Stories and Opportunities Abroad

Eskişehir Technical University’s International Affairs Office will organise an Erasmus+ Experience Day to introduce international mobility opportunities and bring together students interested in Erasmus+ with those who have already participated.

The event will begin with opening remarks and an introductory session on Erasmus+ traineeships. Participants will learn about compulsory, voluntary and recent graduate traineeships, eligibility requirements, finding a host organisation, financial support and the main steps before, during and after mobility.

Students who have completed Erasmus+ traineeships will share their experiences through short presentations, discussing how they found their placements, their daily tasks, challenges and professional development. A poster exhibition will feature both traineeship and study mobility experiences from different countries and institutions.

During the poster session, participants will have the opportunity to meet student presenters, ask questions and exchange practical advice. The event aims to make Erasmus+ opportunities easier to understand, encourage participation and highlight the programme’s contribution to professional skills, intercultural learning and international cooperation.

The event will take place on 12 October 2026, from 10:30 to 15:00, at the ESTÜ Conference Hall in the School of Foreign Languages building.
