Erasmus+ Beyond Borders: Connecting People, Learning and Nature is a week-long event organised by our school as part of Erasmus Days. Throughout the week, students who have previously participated in Erasmus+ vocational mobility will share their experiences with younger students through presentations, photographs, stories and discussions.
The students will introduce their peers to Erasmus+ opportunities, explain how they prepared for their mobility, what they experienced during their vocational training abroad and how their stay influenced them both professionally and personally. They will also share experiences from their free time and everyday life abroad.
The main aim of the event is to motivate other students to become active, take opportunities, overcome their fears and apply for Erasmus+ mobility in the future. The presentations will be accompanied by an interactive Erasmus+ quiz, with small prizes for the most successful participants.
As part of the event, we will also connect the Erasmus+ spirit of cooperation, diversity and learning with environmental responsibility. In cooperation with Lesy SR, our students will take part in an outdoor educational activity in the Staré Hory area, including an introduction to forest management, responsible behaviour in nature and an autumn tree-planting activity.
By combining international mobility, vocational education, personal development and environmental education, we want to show our students that learning and making a positive impact can go beyond the classroom and beyond borders.
