Travelling through Europe – Little European Explorers

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, the preparatory class pupils of Școala Gimnazială Șieu-Odorhei will take part in a fun and interactive journey through Europe.
Using their own “Erasmus Passports”, the children will discover Romania, Italy, Spain and Greece through flags, pictures, greetings, music, movement and simple cultural elements. They will learn to say “Hello” in different European languages, explore similarities and differences between cultures, and participate in playful activities inspired by each country.
The activity will also focus on important European values such as friendship, respect, cooperation, curiosity and openness towards other cultures.
At the end of the journey, the children will create a “European Friendship Tree”, showing that although we may come from different countries and have different traditions, we can learn, play and make friends together.
