Day 3 introduces EMO-Talk, an Erasmus+ project that brings together emotions, languages and European competences. The day is designed to help students explore emotional literacy, communication and the idea that, although we may speak different languages, many of our emotions are universal. Participants will discover the aims and activities of the EMO-Talk project and take part in interactive activities focused on recognising, expressing and communicating emotions. Through activities such as “Emotions Speak All Languages”, “How Do I Feel Today?”, “The Colours of Emotions” and “Say It in a Different Way”, students will expand their emotional vocabulary and explore respectful ways of expressing themselves. The programme will also focus on the connection between emotions and communication, empathy and positive messages to others.
The main idea of the day is simple but powerful: different languages, shared emotions. By understanding ourselves and others better, we become better communicators and more active members of our European community. Emotions speak all languages.
