Erasmus+: – more than travel

The first day of Erasmus+ Week 2026 is dedicated to discovering what Erasmus+ really means and how it connects students and teachers with Europe. The programme begins with an official opening, followed by a short introduction to Erasmus+, its opportunities and its role in our school community. Throughout the day, participants will be able to join an Erasmus+ quiz, explore the Erasmus Corner, discover different European destinations, view photos and stories from previous mobilities, and take part in interactive activities such as “My Next Stop Is…”, “What Would You Pack in Your Erasmus Suitcase?” and “One Word for Europe.” The aim of Day 1 is to show that Erasmus+ is much more than travelling. It is about meeting new people, discovering cultures, developing new skills, creating friendships and opening the door to new opportunities.
