Youth Voice: Ideas for Our Community

During Erasmus Days 2026, students from EPAR – Escola Profissional Almirante Reis will be invited to share what they feel is missing or could be improved in their neighbourhood or community, as part of the Erasmus+ project “Youth Voice in Community Policymaking”. On a board, each student will write one idea beginning with “If I could change one thing in my community, I would…”. The proposals may relate to education, environment, culture, sport, public spaces or young people’s lives. Once the ideas are added, they will be organised by topic and students will vote for the ideas that could make the greatest difference. The activity gives students a simple way to speak up, listen to one another and take part in thinking about how their community could become a better place.
