Integrating green competences through student-centered learning for environmental sustainability at Higher Education Institutions

Join this interactive 3.5-hour workshop showcasing results from the Erasmus+ ENVIHEI project, which strengthens environmental sustainability competences in higher education through innovative pedagogies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the EU GreenComp framework.

Participants will explore practical tools and problem-based learning activities, learn how to embed GreenComp into curricula and professional development, and discuss challenges and opportunities for transforming higher education for sustainability. Drawing on insights from lecturer training, the Winter School, and pilot testing with lecturers and students, the session blends presentations, discussion, and networking.

Designed for around 50 participants, it offers practical teaching examples, curriculum inspiration, and connections with an international network of sustainability educators.
