Exhibition Meeting Presentation Round table

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, OŠ Josip Pupačić Omiš will host an international mobility within the Erasmus+ project DEHA – Digital European Herbarium Atlas.
Students and teachers from Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Türkiye and Bulgaria will come together in Omiš to explore European plant diversity, local ecosystems and cultural heritage. Through field activities, international workshops and hands-on scientific activities, participants will collect and document plants, exchange herbarium specimens and learn how traditional herbarium collections can be connected with digital technologies.
One of the highlights will be a GLOBE soil workshop, where students will investigate soil properties and explore its importance for plant growth. The programme will also include plant identification activities, botanical and plant-art workshops, and visits to local natural and cultural heritage sites.
The event will promote biodiversity awareness, environmental education, digital competences, intercultural learning and European cooperation.
By bringing together young people from different European countries, the event will demonstrate how Erasmus+ creates opportunities to learn together, share knowledge and build connections beyond national borders.
