This 50-minute Erasmus Day activity introduces 25 students to the Erasmus+ programme through an engaging mix of presentation, video and teamwork. Students first learn what Erasmus+ is and what opportunities it offers for young people, and then watch a short motivational video featuring real participants’ experiences. In the main part of the session, they work in five teams, each “travelling” virtually to a different European country. Using maps, their smartphones and their creativity, they research local traditions, food, useful phrases and places to visit, and create an “Erasmus Passport” poster to present to their peers. The activity ends with a collective “Erasmus Map of the Class” and a personal reflection: “I would like to do Erasmus because…” The aim is to raise awareness of European opportunities, promote intercultural curiosity, encourage language learning and inspire students to take part in future mobility and school projects.
