CIFP CRUZ DE PIEDRA
From October 12th to 16th, CIFP Cruz de Piedra is bringing Europe closer to home. Throughout the week, our school community will dive into the Erasmus+ experience through a student-led podcast and a high-energy European trivia challenge. We will wrap everything up on Friday, October 16th, with a lively European themed gathering in the courtyard during recess. It’s all about connecting, sharing, and celebrating what makes us European!
To mark this year’s international Erasmus Days, we have put together a series of interactive, peer-led activities running from October 12th to 16th. Our goal is simple: to break down the walls of the classroom, showcase the incredible mobility opportunities available to our vocational students, and celebrate our shared European values in a fun, relatable way.
Here is what we have lined up for the week:
• Our First Ever “Cruz de Piedra in Europe” Podcast: We are putting our students and staff behind the microphone. In this special broadcast, past Erasmus participants will sit down to chat about their time abroad—sharing honest stories, career breakthroughs, and personal highlights. It will be a casual, eye-opening conversation aimed at inspiring the next batch of applicants.
• The Ultimate EU & Erasmus Trivia Challenge: A fast-paced, competitive quiz where participants can test their knowledge on everything Europe. From how EU institutions actually work to fun facts about member states and insider tips on landing an Erasmus grant, it’s going to be a lively friendly competition with plenty of learning along the way.
• The Big European Break (October 16th – During Recess): We are closing out the week with a bang on Friday morning. During the main recess, the school courtyard will be transformed into a European social hub. With music, a great atmosphere, and a space to share key takeaways from the week, it will be the perfect opportunity for students and staff to hang out, chat, and celebrate the spirit of diversity and unity that Erasmus is all about.
