FROM PRAGUE TO KARACAHISAR: EUROPE THROUGH OUR EYES

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, Karacahisar Secondary School in Uşak, Türkiye, will share the outcomes of our Erasmus+ School Education Accreditation job-shadowing mobility in Prague, Czechia, held from 8–12 June 2026.

During our job-shadowing experience at Základní škola a Mateřská škola, Praha 4, we observed innovative teaching practices, student-centred learning environments, digital learning tools, early language education and approaches supporting sustainability and intercultural learning.

In this school-based sharing event, we will bring our Prague experience to our students and school community through photographs, stories and examples from the classrooms we visited.

The sharing session will be followed by two creative intercultural activities. Students will create a “European Dream Tree” using recycled materials and hang their dreams and future goals on its branches. They will also create an “Intercultural Mailbox” by writing postcards in English to our Czech peers, introducing Türkiye, Uşak and our school culture.

From observing education in Prague to inspiring dreams in a rural school in Uşak, our event aims to show how Erasmus+ experiences can travel beyond borders and become part of everyday school life.
