Open house

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, we will organise an Open Day inviting schools, teachers and all interested members of the local community to explore the Roman heritage of Petrijanec and discover how digital tools and artificial intelligence can enrich learning.
Participants will explore our e-book about Roman Petrijanec and visit the educational heritage trail developed through the “Živa prošlost” project, connected with our Erasmus+ project “Artificial Intelligence is Coming”. The activity will present archaeological objects and traces of Roman life discovered in the area and explain their purpose and significance.
By connecting local cultural heritage with artificial intelligence and digital learning, participants will experience how technology can help us understand the past while developing skills for the future. The activity will encourage curiosity, critical thinking, digital competences, research skills and learning through exploration.
The event will also showcase the results and experiences of our Erasmus+ projects and highlight the role of cooperation, innovation and education in preserving cultural heritage and preparing learners for the future.
If you are planning to visit us as a group, please fill in the registration form (https://forms.gle/vqf248vb3zezx5yT8) so that we can organise the visit schedule and ensure a quality experience for all participants.
