MIKC Daugavpils Dizaina un mākslas vidusskola "Saules skola"
This interactive event presents the results of the Erasmus+ project Natural Paints for Sustainable Art and Crafts (Plant&Paint), with a particular focus on green skills for sustainable art, crafts and design.
Through presentations, films and hands-on workshops, participants will learn to identify dye plants, experiment with natural pigments, apply lower-impact textile and art techniques, and transform local natural resources into creative products. The school dye garden, digital platform, plant catalogue and educational materials will demonstrate how green skills can be integrated into vocational education.
The event marks the 10th anniversary of Erasmus Days under the theme “Learn and Grow: Skills for the Future” and supports the Union of Skills by showing how international cooperation prepares learners and educators for Europe’s green and digital transitions.
