Erasmus Makes Music

This year, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the Erasmus Makes Music project at the Academy of Arts! What began as a heartfelt idea has grown into a cherished tradition, continuing to bridge the gap between returning Erasmus participants and the next generation of students – all through the power of live performance.

After returning from life-changing Erasmus mobilities across Europe, a dedicated group of students and teachers brought back more than just souvenirs. They returned with fresh perspectives, innovative educational approaches, diverse cultural insights, and a wealth of new skills. Now, they are eager to pass this knowledge down to younger students and the local community.
Because we are musicians, we know that the best way to tell a story and spark inspiration isn’t through a standard lecture – it is through our instruments.
During this event, the stage transforms into a living classroom. Our Erasmus alumni will use live music to break down borders, connect with the audience, and share the invaluable lessons they learned abroad. Through an engaging blend of collaborative performances, cultural storytelling, and interactive mentoring, the musicians translate their international journeys into a language everyone can understand.
