“Students Speak: Lessons from an International Exchange” is a student-led interactive Q&A session designed to share the learning outcomes of an international school exchange experience between students from Türkiye and the Republic of Korea.
During the session, students who took part in the exchange will answer questions from their peers about real-life international communication, using English as a common language, teamwork, problem-solving, responsibility, self-confidence and working with students from another country.
Rather than focusing on cultural presentation, the event highlights the skills and personal development gained through international cooperation. Students will reflect on challenges they faced, how they overcame communication barriers, what they learned from working in an international environment and which skills they would like to develop further through future international opportunities.
The session will also create a connection between the students’ previous international experience and the opportunities offered by Erasmus+. Through peer-to-peer discussion, participants will explore how international mobility and cooperation can strengthen communication skills, foreign language competence, teamwork, adaptability and active participation.
The event aims to encourage more students to take an active role in international projects and Erasmus+ activities and to see international learning as an opportunity for personal, academic and social development.
