Inspire Youth – Youth Participation and Local Consultative Councils

As part of the Erasmus+ project “Inspire Youth”, Asociația Be Teen will organise a workshop in Peștișani dedicated to youth participation and the role of youth consultative councils in local communities.

The workshop will bring together young people from Peștișani to better understand how they can participate in local decision-making, how a youth consultative council works and what steps are needed to strengthen the Youth Consultative Council of Peștișani.

Using non-formal education methods, group discussions and practical activities, participants will identify issues that are important to young people in their community, explore ways to communicate their needs and ideas to local authorities and develop proposals for future local initiatives.

The event aims to encourage active youth participation, strengthen dialogue between young people and local decision-makers and create a space where young people can contribute directly to the development of their community.
