“A European Student for a Day”

Students draw a card with a European country and receive a profile of a student, for example:

“You are 15 years old, you live in Portugal, you play football, you are learning three languages, and school starts at 8:30 a.m.”

They are then given different situations:

A new student sits next to you.
You do not understand what the teacher is saying.
Someone makes fun of your accent.
You are invited to socialise with other students, but you do not know anyone.

Students discuss and decide how they would react in each situation.
