Erasmus Days – Move With LEGO
As part of Erasmus Days, pupils from the 4th and 5th grades of the Zgornji Duplek branch school will take part in the Move With LEGO workshop on 12 October. The activity is part of the Erasmus+ project MOVE4DATA – Learning through Movement, Coding and Data.
Working in small teams, pupils will use LEGO SPIKE Prime Hubs as wearable movement sensors. They will explore how an accelerometer detects movement, measure different physical activities and collect a LEGO Energy Index. Pupils will then record and compare their results, discovering how movement can be transformed into data.
The workshop combines physical education, mathematics and computing in a playful hands-on activity and introduces pupils to sensors, coding, data collection and data interpretation.
