Erasmus Experiences – New Skills in Our Classrooms

We will host various events during the week:

Our Erasmus+ Airport: Grades 7–9 receive boarding passes, research destination countries (culture, language, facts), and design interactive airport GATES in the school hall.

Letter to the Mayor 2035: Students design local development initiatives (environment, youth spaces, safety) and present the Children’s Development Plan to municipality officials.

European Repair Café: A waste-reduction sewing workshop led by a local tailor, transforming old textiles, wood, and packaging into new items (Old T-shirt – New Future).

VR Travel Around Europe: Educational VR exploration where students analyze a chosen country, compare it with Apače, and map out transferable ideas.

Food & Water Eco-Project: Students track school kitchen waste (From Plate to Waste) and run an anonymous survey alongside physical measurements to audit school water usage (Every Drop Counts).

Wish Boats: Creative goal-setting activity where students craft paper boats inscribed with personal future milestones, forming a joint Sea of Our Wishes installation.

Friendship Contract: Empathy-building pairing between first-graders and older students to complete joint tasks and build a collaborative Friendship Tree.

Paparazzi Club: Student media team acting as journalists, photographers, and editors to produce interviews, photo reports, and the final Erasmus Days film.
