### **10 Years, One School, Europe Ahead**
To celebrate **Erasmus Days 2026**, EOI Xauen will combine this European initiative with a very special occasion: the **10th anniversary of our school**, on 21 October. Under the motto **“10 Years, One School, Europe Ahead”**, the event will celebrate our school’s journey while highlighting the role of language learning, intercultural communication and Erasmus+ in opening our educational community to Europe.
Throughout the school, students will take part in a series of **interactive linguistic and cultural challenges**, discovering interesting facts about European languages and cultures. They will also be invited to reflect on the questions **“Why do you learn languages?”** and **“Why are languages important in today’s world?”**, sharing their answers as part of a collaborative display.
A special **“10 Years, 10 Stories”** initiative will collect memories and personal experiences from current and former students and teachers. These testimonies will be complemented by a **memory wall**, where members of the school community can leave messages, anecdotes and wishes for the future.
The European dimension of the school will be represented through an **interactive international map**, displaying the Erasmus+ projects, mobilities and international collaborations developed by EOI Xauen. Photographs, videos and experiences from different European destinations will help students discover how Erasmus+ has contributed to the internationalisation of the school and to the professional and personal development of its educational community.
A **photo and video exhibition** will take visitors through ten years of school life, including our European experiences, while a special **10th-anniversary photocall** will invite students and staff to celebrate together and reflect on the question: **“Where will languages take you next?”**
Finally, participants will be encouraged to look towards the future by contributing ideas and wishes for **“Our Next 10 Years”**, connecting the school’s past and present with its future as an increasingly European, multilingual and internationally connected educational community.
The event will therefore become both a celebration of **ten years of EOI Xauen** and an opportunity to promote the values at the heart of Erasmus+: **European cooperation, multilingualism, inclusion, intercultural awareness and lifelong learning**.
