Future Skills – Education for Tomorrow
The conference, organised in Lesznowola on 15 October 2026, will bring together teachers, school leaders, local government representatives and education professionals to discuss the changing role of education and the competences young people need to succeed in the future.
The event will focus on the practical development of future skills, including creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, digital competence, media literacy, problem-solving and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing world. Particular attention will be given to the role of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, innovative teaching methods and international cooperation in modern education.
The programme will be designed to respond to the needs of different groups of participants. Teachers will gain practical ideas, teaching strategies, digital tools and examples of activities that can be introduced into everyday classroom practice. School leaders will have an opportunity to explore approaches to school development, innovation, digital transformation, internationalisation and the effective use of Erasmus+ opportunities. Local government representatives and education authorities will be able to exchange experiences and discuss how cooperation between schools, local authorities and other educational organisations can contribute to improving the quality of education and supporting teachers and students.
The conference will combine expert presentations, practical workshops, discussions, examples of good practice and networking activities. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own educational practice, identify challenges in their local contexts and explore realistic solutions that can be implemented after the event.
An important outcome of the conference will be the creation of new professional connections and opportunities for future cooperation. Participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives of other schools and local authorities, exchange contacts, share experiences and identify potential partners for educational projects, Erasmus+ activities, teacher development and student initiatives. The conference will therefore go beyond the traditional exchange of information. Its aim is to provide participants with practical inspiration, transferable tools, new partnerships and concrete ideas for action that can contribute to the development of future-oriented schools and educational communities.
