A Blue Window to Europe

Objective: To enable the primary school students of Atatürk Primary School to discover different European countries, children’s games, and cultures through a visual presentation, and to share their own cultural perspective with the world under the motto #PerşembeninGeleceği.
* Duration: 40 Minutes (One lesson hour).
* Implementation Steps:
1. A Blue Window to Europe Presentation (20 Minutes): The teacher guides the students on a colorful “Journey to Europe” using a projector. The presentation uses entertaining stories to introduce the daily lives of children, traditional games, traditional clothing, and basic greetings (Bonjour, Ciao, Hola) in countries like Italy, France, and Spain.
2. Intercultural Greeting (10 Minutes): Students practice saying the different greetings they learned during the presentation. Afterwards, they wave to their peers in Europe from their own window on the Black Sea coast and take a group photo with signs reading #PerşembeninGeleceği to capture their ErasmusDays memory. The activity is planned for each class at school.
