Erasmus Day 2026

Erasmus Day will be organised as an information and promotional event addressed to students and staff of the university. The main aim of the event will be to present the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme, encourage participation in international mobility and share practical experiences of studying, training and working abroad.
The event will include a general presentation by the Erasmus Coordinator covering the organisation of the Erasmus+ programme at the university, available mobility opportunities for students and staff, recruitment and application procedures, eligibility requirements, financial support and the main stages of participation in the programme.
An important part of the event will be presentations and testimonials from Erasmus students and from university students and staff who have previously participated in Erasmus+ mobility. They will share their experiences abroad, present their host institutions and countries, and talk about the academic, professional, linguistic and intercultural benefits of international mobility. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss practical aspects of taking part in Erasmus+.
The programme will also include an online connection with students who are currently participating in Erasmus+ mobility abroad, allowing them to share their experiences directly with participants of Erasmus Day and answer questions about their stay.
The information session will be preceded by an outdoor educational game focused on the local region, Europe and the Erasmus+ programme. The activity will involve both university students and pupils from local secondary schools. Participants will take part in tasks and quizzes testing their knowledge of the Subcarpathian region, Europe, European countries and cultures, and the Erasmus+ programme. The game will combine education, promotion and integration and will provide an opportunity for interaction between university students and secondary-school pupils.
The participation of secondary-school pupils will also serve to promote the idea of international mobility among young people who may become future university students and Erasmus+ participants. The event will demonstrate the educational, professional and intercultural opportunities offered by studying and gaining experience abroad.
Overall, Erasmus Day will provide a platform for information exchange, sharing personal experiences and promoting the Erasmus+ programme within the university and among the wider local community. The event will contribute to strengthening the international dimension of the university and encouraging students and staff to make use of available mobility opportunities.
