Local Roots, Global Routes

Local Roots, Global Routes is an Erasmus Day event organized by the Academy of Applied Studies Southern Serbia to promote the values and opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme and to encourage students and staff to become actively involved in international mobility and cooperation.

The event will connect the Academy’s local identity and regional roots with its growing international network of partner institutions. Through presentations, personal mobility experiences, discussions and informal exchange, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about studying, training and working abroad, Erasmus+ mobility opportunities, intercultural learning and the benefits of international cooperation.

Special attention will be given to the experiences of students and staff who have participated in Erasmus+ mobilities, providing practical information and first-hand insights into preparation, life abroad, academic and professional development, and the value of international experience.

The event will also highlight the Academy’s Erasmus+ projects and partnerships and demonstrate how international cooperation contributes to the development of the institution, its students, staff and the local community.

Local Roots, Global Routes reflects the idea that strong local foundations can open the way to international opportunities, knowledge exchange and lasting connections across Europe and beyond.
