Europaschule Bad Oeynhausen

Open house

As part of the Erasmus Days, fifth-grade students from the “Language and Culture” class at Europaschule Bad Oeynhausen will create personalised greeting cards for our European partner schools.
The students will explore the languages and cultures of Portugal, Spain etc. and write short messages, greetings and questions in English as well as in the languages of our partner countries. They will decorate their cards with drawings and symbols representing friendship, diversity and European solidarity.
The cards will then begin their journey across Europe, carrying the students’ wishes and ideas to their peers at our partner schools. Through this creative activity, even our youngest students experience that Europe is more than a place on a map: it is a community built through communication, curiosity, mutual respect and friendship across borders.
The project encourages intercultural learning, multilingualism and a shared sense of European identity while strengthening the connection between our Erasmus partner schools.
