1stAId4SME is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project that supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the effective and responsible adoption of generative AI. As generative AI rapidly transforms business processes, many SMEs face challenges in identifying suitable tools, understanding their potential, and implementing them effectively. This interactive workshop presents the project’s practical approach, including real-world use cases, user requirements, a self-assessment framework, and an SME-focused training guide. Participants will exchange experiences and discuss how higher education, industry, and social partners can collaborate to strengthen AI readiness and digital transformation in SMEs.
