Erasmus events

Following on from the great success of last year’s Erasmus Day, we are organising a series of international events on 13, 14 and 15 October 2026. We welcome our student council representatives, Erasmus participants, pupils and teachers to act as speakers and workshop leaders, sharing their experiences and leading workshops. We invite our fellow teachers, coordinators and guests from Hungary and abroad to join the programme series as speakers, participants or audience members.

The Piarist Grammar School in Budapest – an Erasmus-accredited institution for the fifth year running – has organised group mobility programmes for a total of 117 pupils over the past four years, facilitated long-term study placements for 21 pupils, organised 13 professional visits for teachers, and was able to support 21 teachers’ summer courses through Erasmus grants.

This year, on three of the international Erasmus Days, we are organising programmes, workshops and promotional events aimed at dissemination and knowledge-sharing, and we warmly welcome applications from our partners and participants.

1. On Tuesday 13 October, from 12.30 pm, we are organising an international conference on the topics of institutional internationalisation and international learning practices that support inclusion and digitalisation, with a particular focus on the use of AI. The session presentations will last 15–20 minutes and will take place both in person and online. We warmly welcome applications from prospective speakers.

2. On Wednesday 14 October, from 1.00 pm, the event is open to students taking part in the Erasmus programme and representatives of the Student Council. As part of the nationwide ‘Voice of Students’ programme series and with the support of the Erasmus programme, our students are organising workshops and a series of afternoon events on the themes of student democracy and participation. We look forward to receiving applications from participants and anyone else interested.

3. On Thursday 15 October, from 14:00, we are organising a workshop and poster session for Erasmus participants and those involved in the Mumbai–Budapest exchange programme – both pupils and teachers – in the auditorium on the second floor. Through various stations and posters, we aim to provide our pupils and teachers with the opportunity to share their experiences. We look forward to the participation of our pupils and teachers and to their enthusiastic presentation of their work. Everyone interested is warmly welcome!
