Echoes of Tradition

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, Ege University State Turkish Music Conservatory in İzmir will host “Echoes of Tradition: Connecting Cultures Through Music,” celebrating cultural heritage and international exchange through music.

The event will bring together participants from Türkiye, Greece, Lithuania, France and the Netherlands involved in the Erasmus+ KA153 youth workers’ mobility project “Echoes of Tradition.” Through musical sharing, project presentations and conversations with conservatory students, participants will explore how traditional music supports intercultural dialogue, inclusion and non-formal learning.

By sharing their musical traditions and Erasmus+ experiences, participants will highlight opportunities for learning across borders and inspire future international cooperation.
