How Can We Prepare Young People for a Future with AI?

The workshop explores how education, learning and work are evolving in an AI-enabled world through practical, collaborative activities. Participants first complete a real-world challenge without AI, then repeat the task with AI, compare the two approaches, evaluate the strengths and limitations of each, and decide how to combine human judgement with AI-generated ideas to produce the best final solution. In this way, AI is explored as a tool that supports learning and decision-making rather than as the objective of the workshop. As part of Erasmus Days, the workshop also introduces participants to how Erasmus+ supports digital competence, innovation in education, lifelong learning and opportunities for young people to develop future-ready skills through European cooperation.
